Honestly the new artwork is not as good as the older versions, it's less colorful. I could get past that if they'd made the front and back covers sturdier and less likely to tear but those are the same so it's likely not to last more than two years again. The covers should really be laminated or plastic especially if the handbook is meant to last all 6 years. The content is wonderful, and easy to follow as always.

Having so much equipping info in the book has helped our new troop members earn their Joining Award, track badgework from home & school activities outside of troop & to expand interest in the different Frontiers and sports.
I love the scriptures woven into each badge & the encouragement girls experience just from reading parts of the handbook. Having the revision back in 2020 to make this geared for younger girls and the Pioneer Patriot handbook for the older girls has helped the girls navigate their books with greater confidence & excitement
