Our sash looked messy out of the bag. The thread along the edge of the fabric had knotted, so clumpy, loose threads were noticeable when she wore it. Before I sewed on the first patches, I used our sewing machine to replace the stitches & tore the original knots out. Not a big deal to fix, but it had to be fixed.
