I love the layout of the book. The girls like the spaces on the edges to doodle and write notes! Some of the badges have difficult requirements. But we do the best we can.

It would be nice if the Handbook included more reference materials and instructions for skills like knot-tying, basic first aid, and things like that. In my experience, the journal style pages are underutilized, and those pages could be used for scout/outdoor related reference materials. I also think it would be more appropriate to call the various girl roles "Positions of Responsibility" instead of "leadership roles." A photographer or historian are not really exercising leadership, but they are exercising responsibility.
The flag ceremony page could use some edits or room for troops to make changes according to their troop custom.

There really should be separate badges for pioneers and the Patriots, there is a big developmental difference between a 12 year old and an 17 year olds.

This book is very informational as the KY2025 AHG Troop will be having our KICK OFF Meeting January 7, 2025. I'm the AHG Troop Registar and will be keeping track of the badges and patches that the girls are earning and letting the Troop Boatd know when to order Badages and patches.
