Heimlich Heroes Patches

This patch is awarded to American Heritage Girls who have completed the Heimlich Heroes Patch Program that teaches girls how to recognize the signs of choking, understand how to respond if a person is actually choking, and learn ways to help prevent/minimize the risk of choking. This patch program is also a great supplement to the Emergency Preparedness Badge. Participating activities can be found on AHGresource. The patch is to be worn on the back of the girl’s vest or sash.
