AHG 100 Days of Valuing Creation Devotional

AHG3583

This carefully curated and adapted collection of devotions pulled from the AHG Program curricula offers a small window into the heart of AHG, which embraces seeing and experiencing the world through a Biblical Worldview lens. Designed as a personal devotional for girls of any age to follow independently at home, girls grow in spiritual discipline by daily walking through Bible reading, prayer, reflection, and light hands-on activities.

Over the course of 100 days, a girl will train her:

  • Mind—by reading Scripture verses along with devotional thoughts about each passage and how it applies to her life.
  • Strength—by finding a way to take action and relate to what she just read. These are brief, simple, easy-to-follow activities, such as observation, movement, or interaction with others.
  • Soul—by reflecting quietly on what she just read and experienced and expressing her thoughts and feelings through journaling or drawing in the space provided.
  • Heart—by spending time in prayer with God.

Themed around AHG’s Outdoors Program Emphasis, a girl will be guided to Get Out There to experience creation, Discover Good to learn about creation, and Live RESTfully to care for creation. As she spends time in God’s Word, enjoying both quiet and adventurous time outside, she will grow to value what God values. All of creation has worth because He made it! She will observe first-hand how nature reveals God’s beauty, glory, power, wisdom, presence, creativity, and, most of all, His loving care as she learns in creation, about creation, and from creation.

100 Days of Valuing Creation makes an excellent gift for girls of any age who are interested in learning how to spend daily time in God's Word. AHG Girl Members may count the completion of this study as a Faith Award. Troop volunteers will also find this to be a valuable source of devotional material for meetings, events, and outdoor activities. Order your copy today!
